To be totally honest, it’s been a while since I ate at Haché. I can’t remember exactly what it was that I ordered, which only proves to me that it’s somewhat forgettable and that they are not the ‘burger connoisseurs’ that they claim to be.

Having said that, the burger was tasty and of good quality. The meat was succulent and the cheese stringy, so it ticked all the right boxes. I think that my error was ordering the burger in a ciabatta bun (rather than going for the brioche option), which I found slightly over-cooked, tasteless and hard to eat.

One of my favourite things about the restaurant on Fulham Road was its decoration and ambient lighting. The large hanging mirrors and dainty lights make for rather a romantic setting. Unfortunately for me though, the fairly lights weren’t on the menu.
